The Right SPRU Strengths
SPRU is different from tablets or syrups as you are consuming millions of nutritious Spirulina in water, and in some products we adjust the dose by changing the amount of water (or juice) in the product.
For convenience we offer three strengths for different use cases to serve as guidance. SPRU is a healthy food not a drug — you cannot eat too much.

A NUTRI dose can be added to another daily dosage on days that you expect higher stress, or when your energy or immune system needs a boost.

POWER contains 2 x the Spirulina and is great for people living active/ stressful lives, for athletes, and for remedial nutrition in people who are recovering from illness or have difficulty eating a healthy diet.
POWER SPRU is ideal for older adults who eat less to help achieve balanced nutrition and maintain healthy iron and calcium levels.
MAXX contains 3 x the NUTRI dose. It is ideal for athletes training for a major sports event, and for people living or recovering from Cancer or other serious illness.
SPRU MAXX may be the right dose for people on fasting diets or diets with severely restricted food intake — the high level of nutrients help to maintain healthy nutrition.
What Time to Take SPRU
We are all different — as a starting point take SPRU first thing in the morning or with breakfast. Then try different times and listen to your body to discover what's best for you.
Some people experience a noticeable energy boost — a 'SPRU rush' — that can last a few hours or longer. In this case a SPRU dose after lunch may impact your sleep patterns and a morning dose may be best for you.
Some athletes take SPRU before, during or after their workouts, and many divide their dose between different times depending on their unique body and metabolism and circadian clock.
Pay attention during your first weeks and months of taking SPRU to see if and how it is impacting your life.
